Used
to co-host a show called Plucka's Place, spin off from Hey
Hey it's Saturday, and was nominated for a Logie award for best
new face. But the girl from Neighbours got the Logie.
Appeared as a contestent on celebrity 'Catch Phrase' and 'Sale of
the Century'.
Also was on gameshow 'All Star Squares' for a week.
When recently out with a should injury, Daniel had a commentating
gig at the Pan Pacs in Sydney.
In the lead up to the Atlanta '96 Olympic Games, Daniel received
death threats "If you win [again], you're dead." Originally
it was believed to be related to gamblers betting on races, although
no link was found. Read more here
At the 1996 Atlant games, Daniel became the first man to gain medals
in 3 swimming events at one Olympic games.
Avid NBL fan of the Vic Titans (formerly Melbourne Magic before
merging with the Giants)
Trains with the likes of Grant Hackett and Ky Hurst.
Sydney 2000 will be Daniel's 2nd Olympic Games.
